As schools work to reduce the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) by addressing the health and safety needs of all students, the Ohio Department of Education remains committed to providing supports for Ohio’s educators as they ensure English learners receive critical information and continue remote learning.

The Ohio Department of Education's Lau Resource Center has created Ohio's Support Guide for Teachers of English Learners. The document provides strategies and resources for educators as they work to serve Ohio's English learners and their families. The document also includes a (FAQ) frequently asked questions section to address some of the more common questions the Department has received related to coronavirus (COVID-19) and the ordered school-building closure.
