Children With Special Needs

The Lake County ESC employs a number of School Psychologists, Speech and Language Pathologists and Occupational Therapists to provide support and services to serve students requiring assistance in the following areas: Emotionally Disturbed, Children with Multiple Disabilities, Occupational Therapy, Psychological Services, Speech/Language Therapy, Developmentally Handicapped and Learning Disabled.

Early Childhood Preschool Programs
The Lake County Educational Service Center’s Early Childhood program provides quality services, professional development and integrated programming to preschool children throughout Lake County. Early Childhood services are provided in a variety of settings including public and private preschools, kindergarten classrooms and in the home. The children served by the Lake County Early Childhood Team are referred through the local school district's special education director.
