Dr. Tom Stone
Director, Region 4 SST
 
 Dr. Tom Stone, Director of Region 4, joined the state support team in 2007 after working many years in area school districts as an Assistant Superintendent, Curriculum Director, Director of Special Edcuation, Principal, and School Psychologist. His first experience in education was as a volunteer reading tutor in a City of Cleveland elementary school.
Dr. Stone earned his doctorate at Kent State University in School Psychology and Curriculum. He also has graduate degrees in Systems Intervention and Education. Dr. Stone is a founding board member of the DDC Clinic, an internationally known research and primary care facility for children with serious genetic and metabolic disorders.
