Literacy

The development of language and literacy forms the basis for success in school and beyond. The process of learning to talk, listen, read, and write begins very early in life and is highly valued among parents, educators and society-at-large. Research regarding scientifically based literacy practices is not available to assist parents and educators in helping all children learn to read and write effectively. Therefore, this section is devoted to various literacy resources and information.
